In short

You do not need an account to use Cars-Size. We do not ask for your name, email or location. Below we explain exactly what is processed.

Visit counter

We use our own simple counter to see which pages are read. It records the page, the country (roughly, from the IP address), the device type and the referring site as daily totals. Your IP address is not stored and no identifying cookie is used.

Preferences stored in your browser

Your unit choice (mm/in) and recently viewed cars are kept only in your browser (localStorage). They are not sent to us; clearing your browser data removes them.

Contact form and feedback

Messages you send, with the optional name and contact details, are stored so we can reply. To prevent abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address. Messages are deleted after two years at the latest. "Was this useful?" votes keep only a hash as well.

Ads and Google

The site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your previous visits. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings. See how Google uses data on partner sites. Visitors from the EEA and the UK see Google's consent dialog.

Fonts

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Your rights

To have a message you sent us deleted, write to us from the contact page.
